Ingredients list for Veggy Prawns
- 1 cup Mixed vegetables chopped
- 250 grams Prawns shelled and deveined
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 medium Onion , chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 medium Tomato, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- Take prawns in a bowl. Add salt and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside for half an hour to marinate.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and saute till light brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and tomato. Mix well and saute till tomatoes are soft.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
- Mix well and saute for a minute.Add mixed vegetables.
- Mix well and cook till they are soft, sprinkling water from time to time.
- Add marinated prawns, coriander leaves and one cup water.
- Mix well and cook for five minutes. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
