Ingredients list for Til ki Burfi
- 1 cup Sesame seeds (til)
- 3 tablespoons Ghee at room temperature
- 1½ cups Khoya/mawa grated
- ½ cup Sugar
- 5-6 Almonds chopped
- 5-6 Pistachios chopped
Method
- Heat a non-stick pan, add sesame seeds and dry-roast till light light brown. Set aside to cool. Grease an 8x6 inch tray.
- Heat ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add khoya and sauté on low heat till light pink and fragrant.
- Add roasted sesame seeds and sugar, and continue to sauté for 3-4 minutes or till the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add chopped nuts and mix well.
- Transfer to the greased tray, level the surface and set aside to cool. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
- Store in an airtight container when completely cooled.
