Ingredients list for Tarkari Halwa
- 1 cup Yellow pumpkin grated
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 10 Raisins
- 10 Cashewnuts
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat one tablespoon of ghee in a pan and sauté raisins and cashewnuts lightly. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add the grated pumpkin and cook for a while to remove the moisture. Add sugar, mix and cook for till the pumpkin gets cooked. Add remaining ghee, green cardamom powder, fried raisins and cashewnuts and mix.
- Stir and serve hot.
