Tandoori Broccoli

Broccoli florets marinated in lemon grass flavoured yogurt and baked. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Tandoori Broccoli

  • 1 large Broccoli separated into small florets,blanched
  • 2 cups Hung Yogurt
  • 2 Lemon grass stalk finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Green chilli paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • a pinch Mace powder

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Place yogurt, lemon grass, lemon juice, cream, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, white pepper powder, salt and mace powder and mix well.
  2. Add broccoli florets and mix well till the marinade coats the broccoli well. Set aside for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
  3. Grease a baking tray and arrange the broccoli on it. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes. Serve hot.
