Ingredients list for Tadka Salad
- 1 kilogram Tomatoes chopped
- to taste Onions
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Vinegar
Method
- Put the tomatoes in a deep non stick pan and cook on medium heat.
- Add salt and mix. Add onions and red chilli powder and mix. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Cook till the excess moisture evaporates.
- Add vinegar, mix and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into sterilized bottles and store in refrigerator when cooled down to room temperature. Use when required.
