Ingredients list for Strawberry Kheer - SK Khazana
- 9-10 Strawberries washed
- Sugar ½ cup + 2 tablespoons
- 5 cups Milk
- 1/4 cup Rice soaked for 15-20 minutes and drained
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
- for garnish Strawberries sliced
- for garnish Pistachios slivers
Method
- Hull the strawberries and roughly chop them.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add strawberries and 2 tbsps sugar, mix and cook till the strawberries are pulpy. Take the pan off the heat.
- Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan and let it come to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Add rice, mix well and cook till the rice is completely cooked.
- Add ½ cup sugar, mix well and cook on low heat, stirring continuously, for 4-5 minutes.
- Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Switch off the heat, add the strawberry compote and mix well.
- Transfer into individual serving bowl, garnish with strawberry slices and pistachio slivers and serve.
