Ingredients list for Spinach Cheese Balls-SK Khazana
- 1 cup Spinach puree
- 1/3 cup Cheddar cheese grated
- 1/3 cup Processed cheese grated
- 3 tablespoons Cornflour
- 1/4 cup Dried breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper powder
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli flakes
- for deep-frying Oil
- 1/2 cup Cabbage shredded
- 2 tablespoons Carrot strips
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Method
- Mix together spinach puree, cornflour, breadcrumbs, panko breadcrumbs, salt and pepper powder in a bowl.
- Mix together cheddar cheese, processed cheese, salt, pepper powder and chilli flakes in another bowl.
- Divide the cheese mixture into equal balls. Divide the spinach mixture into equal portions.
- Spread each spinach portion in your palm, place a cheese ball in the centre, bring the edges together and shape into a ball. .
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry balls golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Mix together cabbage, carrot, pepper powder, salt and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Spread this salad on a serving platter, keep the spinach cheese balls over it and serve immediately.
