Ingredients list for Spicy Potato Fingers

  • 4 large Potatoes
  • to deep fry Cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Peppercorns,crushed
  • 1/25 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 2 tablespoons Cheese,grated

Method

  1. Scrub and wash the potatoes clean. Cut into long pieces with out peeling. Put the pieces in ice-cold water. Drain. Heat oil and deep-fry the potato pieces till golden brown. Drain.
  2. Mix salt, crushed peppercorns, red chilli powder, chaat masala and sprinkle this on the fried potato pieces. Put them on a plate, sprinkle grated cheese over and bake in a preheated oven (180 C) for 10-12 minutes.
