Ingredients
- 250 grams spaghetti
- 4-5 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon crushed red chillies
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- A few sprigs of fresh oregano, chopped
- A few sprigs fresh thyme
Method
- Cook spaghetti in sufficient salted boiling water to which one tablespoon of oil has been added till almost done (al dente. Drain refresh and keep aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic and sauté on medium heat for half a minute. Add crushed red chillies and crushed peppercorns and continue to sauté for another half a minute.
- Add spaghetti, fresh oregano and thyme and toss to mix well. Adjust seasoning and continue to cook for another minute till the spaghetti is heated through tossing and stirring continuously. Serve hot.
