Ingredients list for Sitaphal Suji Kheer
- 1 cup Custard apple (sitaphal) pulp
- 1/2 cup Semolina (suji)
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 750 millilitres Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup mawa / khoya grated
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
- Pistachios chopped 2 tablespoons + for garnishing
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add semolina and roast till it turns light brown.
- Boil milk in another non-stick pan, add roasted semolina, mix and cook till semolina is cooked. Keep stirring continuously.
- Add sugar and keep stirring till the sugar is dissolved. Add the mawa / khoya, cook on low heat, stirring continuously for a minute. Switch off heat.
- Add cardamom powder, pistachios, custard apple pulp and mix well.
- Garnish with pistachios and serve warm.
