Dry roast cumin seeds and grind to a fine powder. Grind garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves and mint leaves to a fine paste. Mix together cooked sweet potato cubes, ground paste, roasted cumin powder, black salt, salt, crushed peppercorns, lemon juice and chopped onion. Toss well and serve at room temperature.
