Ingredients list for Savoury Crispies With Creamy Onion Dip

  • 2 Pita Bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • For dipping sauce
  • 2 medium Onions sliced
  • to deep fry Oil
  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • 1 stalk Spring onions chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed

  1. Slice the pita bread horizontally and cut again into long triangular slices.
  2. Heat a tava and arrange the pits slices on it. Toast both sides on low heat till crisp. Heat the oil in a kadai and deep fry the onions till golden brown.
  3. Drain on absorbent paper. Crush the onions lightly. Combine the mayonnaise, cream, spring onion greens, salt, crushed peppercorns and browned onions. Place in a refrigerator for half an hour.
  4. Serve the pita crispies with the onion dip.
