Ingredients list for Savoury Crispies With Creamy Onion Dip
- 2 Pita Bread
- Mayonnaise
- For dipping sauce
- 2 medium Onions sliced
- to deep fry Oil
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
- 1 stalk Spring onions chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed
Method
- Slice the pita bread horizontally and cut again into long triangular slices.
- Heat a tava and arrange the pits slices on it. Toast both sides on low heat till crisp. Heat the oil in a kadai and deep fry the onions till golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper. Crush the onions lightly. Combine the mayonnaise, cream, spring onion greens, salt, crushed peppercorns and browned onions. Place in a refrigerator for half an hour.
- Serve the pita crispies with the onion dip.
