Ingredients list for Sambhar Masala

  • 1 cup Coriander Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
  • 13 Bedgi whole dry chillies
  • 20 Curry leaves dried
  • 3/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Dry roast coriander seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and whole dry red chillies. Cool and grind with curry leaves, asafoetida and turmeric powder. Cool and store in airtight container.
