Ingredients
- 1 cup green peas, boiled
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 3 medium onions
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
- Roughly chopped spring onion greens for garnishing
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Quarter onions and put into a chopper, finely chop them, add to the pan and sauté till brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and 1 tbsp water and mix well. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add 3 cups water and mix well. Add salt.
- Mix together wheat flour and 3 tbsps water in a bowl till smooth and add to the pan. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Blend with a hand blender in the pan itself till smooth.
- Add green peas and mix well. Quarter potatoes, add and mix well. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens and serve immediately.
