Quickest Dahi Bhalla Bread balls covered with seasoned yogurt topped with mint chutney and sweet date and tamarind chutney By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bread Slices, Yogurt Cuisine Punjabi Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Quickest Dahi Bhalla 4 Bread Slices 6 cups Yogurt to taste Salt 4 teaspoon Sugar to taste Mint chutney to taste Sweet date and tamarind chutney 2 tablespoons Roasted cumin seeds 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves Method Whisk yogurt well with sugar and little bit of salt. Keep aside. Cut sides of the bread slice. Soak in to warm water just for 2 seconds and drain the water. Make round roll of each bread in ball shape. Keep aside For serving; place bread Bhalla (ball) on a plate/katori and cover with whisked yogurt. Add mint chutney and tamarind chutney. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder.
