Ingredients list for Pumpkin Halwa
- 800 grams Red Pumpkin peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 100 grams Sugar
- 70 grams Khoya/mawa grated
- 10-12 Cashewnuts
- 10 Raisins
- 8-10 Raisins
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat the ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add the pumpkin and sauté on low heat till soft. Add the sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar melts and the moisture evaporates.
- Add the khoya, cashewnuts, raisins and pistachios and mix well. Cook for five minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and sprinkle green cardamom powder. Serve hot.
