Ingredients list for Pudina Chaas

  • 1 1/2 cups Yogurt
  • 4 tablespoons Fresh mint leaves torn
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1 inch piece Ginger peeled
  • to taste Sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mint leaves crushed
  • as required Ice cubes crushed

Method

  1. Grind fresh mint leaves, green chilli, ginger and sea salt together to a coarse paste in a mortar with a pestle.
  2. Blend this paste with yogurt, adding roasted cumin powder and four cups of water.
  3. Pour chaas equally in four glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
