Healthy snacking is the best way to satisfy your munchies without the worry of to many added calories.

Ingredients for Potato Rosti - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Large potatoes peeled 3

  • Cornflour 4 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Fresh thyme sprig 1

  • Oil to cook

  • Butter to cook

  • Tomato ketchup to serve

  • Mustard sauce to serve

Method

Step 1

Grate potatoes in a bowl. Add cornflour, salt, crushed black peppercorns and fresh thyme, and mix well.

Step 2

Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan, place a medium size cookie cutter, put a portion of potato mixture, flatten to make a small thick disc and gently remove the cookie cutter. Drizzle some butter all around and cook on medium heat, turning sides, till both sides are evenly golden and crisp. Drain them on absorbent paper. Similarly cook the rest.

Step 3

Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot with tomato ketchup and mustard sauce.
