Ingredients list for Potato Cheese Croquettes
- 4 medium Potatoes boiled and grated
- 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Cornflour/ corn starch
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Mix together potatoes, processed cheese, onion, green chilli, red chilli powder, salt, breadcrumbs and half the cornflour in a bowl.
- Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and roll into balls.
- Flatten the balls to form croquettes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Put the remaining cornflour in a plate.
- Roll the croquettes in it and deep fry, on medium heat, till golden brown in colour. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
