Pepper Chole Chole takes on a new avatar with plenty of crushed black peppercorns and oyster sauce. Serve this recipe on it's own. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Sep 2018 in Recipes Veg New Update Pepper Chole Main Ingredients Black peppercorns, Chickpeas (chole) Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-7 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 1/2 tablespoons crushed black peppercorns 1 1/2 cups chickpeas (chole), boiled 1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 1 medium onion, sliced 1 cup tomato puree 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Salt to taste Sliced spring onion greens for garnish Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and garlic, mix and sauté well. Add onion, mix and sauté till they are lightly browned. Add 1½ tablespoons crushed peppercorns and mix well. Add tomato puree, mix and cook for a minute. Add oyster sauce, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add salt and mix. Add little water and mix. Add chickpeas, mix well and let them get heated through.
