Ingredients list for Peach And White Chocolate Cake
- 6 Peaches tinned
- 100 grams White chocolate chopped
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 100 grams Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- Sugar syrup
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Break eggs into a large bowl and whisk them with a hand blender. Add sugar and blend till light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and blend again.
- Halve each peach and cut each half into 3-4 vertical slices. Melt butter in the microwave oven for 15 seconds.
- Sieve refined flour, baking powder and baking soda into the egg mixture and mix with a light hand. Add buttermilk and mix lightly. Add melted butter and white chocolate and mix well.
- Grease a glass oval dish. Pour the batter into it. arrange the peach slices in a decorate manner on top to cover the batter completely.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Take it out of the oven, pour the sugar syrup from the tinned peaches on top and serve.
