This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pavs, Cheese slices Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Pav Bhaji Buns with Cheese 4 Pavs 4 Cheese slices 4 teaspoons Oil 3 medium Onions chopped 6 tablespoons Butter 3 tablespoons Pav bhaji masala 3 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste 2 cups Tomato puree 6 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed to taste Salt 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped 4 grams coriander sprig Method Heat oil in non stick pan. Add onions and sauté till light golden. Add 4 tbsps butter, mix well and sauté till onions are soft. Heat another non stick pan. Slit pavs from the top and place on pan. Cook till crisp on both sides. Add pav bhaji masala to the first pan and mix well. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, potatoes and ½ cup water. Mix well and cook till thick. Add salt and mix well. Add coriander leaves and remaining butter and mix well and remove from heat. Fold cheese slices. Fill each pav with bhaji and place a cheese slice on one side of each pav, serve garnished with a coriander sprig. Serve immediately.
