Ingredients list for Papaya Halwa
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 large Papaya semi ripe, grated
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Almond powder
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 3 tablespoons Khoya/mawa crumbled
- 6-7 Almonds sliced
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add papaya and cook on low heat for 10-15minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add sugar, mix and cook for 5-10 or till the papaya is fully done.
- Add almond powder and cardamom powder and mix well. Add khoya and mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with almonds.
