Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese (paneer) grated
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup castor sugar
- ½ cup refined flour
- 1 egg
- Oil to cook
- Butter to cook
- Maple syrup to serve
Method
- Take cottage cheese in a bowl, add salt, castor sugar and refined flour and mix well.
- Break in an egg and mix well. Divide the mixture into small portions, shape them into discs and place them on a plate.
- Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan and cook the pancakes, a few at a time, turning sides till evenly cooked and golden brown on both sides. Drain them on absorbent paper.
- Arrange them on a serving platter, drizzle maple syrup on top and serve warm.
