Ingredients list for Pan Fried Mushrooms
- 20-24 Button mushrooms quartered
- 1/2 cup Porcini mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Oyster mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 3 Garlic crushed
- 2 medium Onions cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- to taste Salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 small Red capsicum cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 small Yellow capsicum cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Method
- Soak the porcini and oyster mushrooms in lukewarm water for twenty minutes. Drain. Wash well and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan. Add the button mushrooms and garlic and sauté over medium heat.
- Add the porcini and oyster mushrooms and stir-fry for a minute.
- Add the onions, salt, black pepper powder, mixed dried herbs and soy sauce and stir-fry on high heat for a minute.
- Add the red chilli sauce, vinegar, red capsicum and yellow capsicum and toss.
- Sauté for further two minutes. Remove from heat and serve hot.
