By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh spinach, Basmati rice Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Palakwale Chawal-SK Khazana 2 cups Fresh spinach shredded 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked and drained 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 3-4 Spring onion bulbs finely chopped to taste Salt for garnish Spring onion greens sliced Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add spring onion bulbs and sauté till translucent. Add rice and mix. Add salt and mix well. Add 3 cups water, mix and bring to a boil. Add spinach leaves and mix well. Cover and cook till fully done.
