Ingredients
- 15-20 baby spinach leaves
- 10-12 strawberries
- 3 tablespoons strawberry syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard paste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- 7-8 walnuts halved + broken walnuts for garnishing
Method
- Halve 6 strawberries and place them in a mixer jar. Add crushed black peppercorns, dried mango powder, strawberry syrup, mustard paste, lemon juice, oil and salt and blend together to make a dressing.
- Dry roast walnuts.
- Place spinach leaves in a bowl. Quarter the remaining strawberries and add to the bowl. Add walnut and dressing and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with broken walnuts and serve.
