Ingredients list for Palak aur Strawberry Salad

  • 15-20 Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 10-12 Strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons Strawberry syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Mustard paste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 7-8 Walnuts halved + broken walnuts for garnishing

Method

  1. Halve 6 strawberries and place them in a mixer jar. Add crushed black peppercorns, dried mango powder, strawberry syrup, mustard paste, lemon juice, oil and salt and blend together to make a dressing.
  2. Dry roast walnuts.
  3. Place spinach leaves in a bowl. Quarter the remaining strawberries and add to the bowl. Add walnut and dressing and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with broken walnuts and serve.
