Ingredients list for Palak aur Dal ke Pakode
- 8-10 Spinach leaves (palak) cleaned
- 1 cup Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) soaked
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Place green gram, roughly chopped ginger, green chilli and salt in a grinder jar and grind into a fine paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl.
- Finely shred spinach leaves and add to the bowl and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the mixture in the hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
