Palak Paneer Pakoda Palak Paneer Pakoda is a crispy, savoury snack made with paneer and spinach, coated in a spiced gram flour batter and deep-fried until golden brown. By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach leaves (palak), Paneer (cottage cheese) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 12-16 spinach leaves (palak) blanched 150 grams paneer (cottage cheese) ¼ cup mozzarella cheese grated ¼ teaspoon dried red chillies crushed 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves Salt to taste 180 grams Pakoda mix Oil for deep-frying Tomato ketchup to serve Method Grate cottage cheese into a bowl. Add mozzarella cheese, crushed red chillies, coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Place some cheese mixture in the center of each spinach leaf, fold three sides and roll to make a compact parcel. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Take Pakoda mix in a bowl, add sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth batter of coating consistency. Dip each spinach roll in the batter, shake off excess batter and drop into the hot oil. Deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
