Ingredients
- 140 grams instant noodles
- 3 large potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
- 4 burger buns, halved and toasted
- 1½ teaspoons red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves
- Dried bread crumbs as required
- Oil for shallow frying
- 1 small carrot, cut into small cubes
- ¼ cup frozen green peas
- A pinch of dried red chilli flakes
- Lettuce leaves as required
- Cheese slices as required
- Tomato slices as required
Method
- In a bowl, add potatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, and chopped coriander, mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, coat it with bread crumbs and set aside.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, shallow fry the prepared patties till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside.
- Heat 2 cups water in a non-stick pan, add taste-maker, mix well and let it come to a boil.
- Lightly crush the noodles and add to the pan, mix well. Let it cook 1 minute.
- Add carrots and green peas, mix well. Add salt, dried red chilli flakes and cook till the noodles are cooked completely. Take it off the heat.
- Place lettuce leaves on the base of the burger bun, place a portion of the prepared noodles, place the patty and a portion of the noodles, place a cheese slice, and a few slices of tomatoes, and cover with the top of the burger bun.
- Serve immediately.
