Ingredients list for Mushroom Peas Pulao - SK Khazana
- 10-12 Button mushrooms quartered
- 1/2 cup Frozen green peas
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice washed and soaked
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 Bay leaf
- 7-8 Black peppercorns
- 1 Large onion sliced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 3 cups Vegetable stock
- to taste Salt
- to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add bay leaf and peppercorns and sauté till fragrant. Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and sauté till onion is golden brown in colour.
- Add mushrooms, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add rice, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add peas and mix. Add vegetable stock and salt and mix well. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes or till rice is done.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
