Ingredients
- 1½ cups red wine
- 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
- ½ cup fresh cream
- ¼ cup sugar
- 5-6 black peppercorns
- 2 inch cinnamon stick
- 2-3 cloves
- A pinch of nutmeg
- A pinch of all spice powder
- 2 orange slices
- Unsweetened cocoa powder as required
Method
- Heat wine in a non-stick pan, add sugar, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cloves and grate a little nutmeg. Add all spice powder, orange slices and let it come to a boil. Reduce the wine to ¼ its original quantity.
- Heat cream in another non-stick pan, add this to the melted chocolate in a bowl. Strain the wine mixture into the same bowl and mix till well combined. Refrigerate till set.
- Divide the mixture into small equal portions. Take cocoa powder on a plate and roll each portion it till evenly coated and further shape into a ball.
- Arrange these balls on a serving platter and serve.
