Ingredients 

    • 4 teaspoons black Darjeeling Tea                    
    • 2 teaspoons green leaf tea                                    
    • 7-8 fresh mint leaves                
    • 4 tulsi leaves                
    • ¼ teaspoon dry ginger powder (soonth)                     
    • Sugar to taste
    • 1 cup milk (optional)                
    • For the masala
    • 1-inch stick cinnamon                                
    • 3 green cardamoms
    • 4 peppercorns
    • ¼ teaspoon fennel seeds            
    • 5 cloves                 

    Method 

    1. Place the masala ingredients in a vessel and pour four and a half cups of water. Bring to a boil.
    2. Add the tea leaves and let it boil for three to four minutes.
    3. Add mint leaves, tulsi leaves and ginger powder.
    4. Bring to a boil again. Add sugar to taste and serve accompanied with hot milk.
