Microwave Masale Bhat The popular Maharashtrian masale bhaat tastes just as good cooked in the microwave. By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rice, Goda masala Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Rice Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Microwave Masale Bhat 1 cup Rice 2 teaspoons Goda masala 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds a pinch Turmeric powder a pinch Asafoetida 1 medium Potato chopped 1/4 cup Green peas 1 teaspoon Oil to taste Salt for garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped for garnish Coconut scraped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds, turmeric powder and hing and saute for a minute. Add chopped potatoes, green peas, godha masala and rice and saute for a minute.
