Ingredients list for Mexican Chicken Fajita
- 4 Tortillas
- 2 Chicken cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 medium Onions halved and sliced horizontally
- 2 medium Green capsicums sliced
- 2 teaspoon Soy sauce
- 1 Dried red chillies crushed
- 4-6 Black peppercorns crushed
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Cheese grated
- 2 Jalapeno sliced
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté for a minute.
- Add garlic and capsicum and stir. Add chicken and stir-fry for two minutes.
- Add soy sauce, crushed red chillies, crushed peppercorns and stir. Add salt, brown sugar and a little water and cook till the chicken is done.
- Heat a sizzler plate and put the chicken on it.
- Take a tortilla, place a little chicken mixture in the centre, sprinkle grated cheese and jalapeno pepper slices.
- Roll and serve immediately.
