Ingredients list for Methi Begun
- 1/2 bunch Fenugreek leaves
- 1/2 tablespoon Baby brinjals
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 3 Baby brinjals
- 1 Green chilli
- to fry Oil
- to taste Salt
- a pinch Sugar
Method
- Cut brinjal into cubes. Wash methi leaves thoroughly, chop roughly and keep aside. Heat oil in a kadhai. Deep fry the brinjal pieces and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and slit green chilli. Once the cumin seeds begin to crackle, add the washed methi leaves. Cover and cook for a while. Add salt and a pinch of sugar and cook till done. Add the fried brinjal and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.
