Ingredients for Meat balls Recipe

  • Mutton mince (keema) 500 grams

  • Onions finely chopped 2

  • Green chilli paste finely chopped 5

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Garam masala 1 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 4 tablespoons

  • Coconut grated 1/4 cup

  • Ginger-garlic paste 4 teaspoons

  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mint leaves a few

Method

Step 1

Clean and wash the meat. Drain all the water from the mince and set aside. In a bowl mix together, mince, half of ginger garlic paste, half of green chillies, half of red chilli powder, half of garam masala powder and salt to taste. Mix all well in a mincer.

Step 2

Divide the portion into small equal portions and shape them into ball shapes.Heat oil in a pan, add onion and coconut and saute till brown.

Step 3

Add turmeric powder, red chillies powder, green chillies, garam masala and ginger garlic paste. Mix well.Add the whisked yogurt and mix again. Add little water and the meat balls.

Step 4

Cover and cook till the balls are done. Add salt and serve hot garnished with mint leaves.
