Ingredients list for Masoor Cutlets
- 250 grams Lentils soaked
- 2 medium Onions sliced
- 1 inch piece Ginger chopped
- 5-6 cloves Garlic chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 2 slices Bread soaked
- 1/4 medium bunch Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- to shallow fry Oil
Method
- Boil masoor with onion, ginger and garlic with just enough water till done.
- Cool and add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, bread slices (squeezed to remove excess water and mashed) and coriander leaves.
- Mix well and shape into cutlets. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets till crisp. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
