Ingredients l
- 4 raw Kerala bananas
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1½ teaspoons chaat masala
- Oil for deep-frying
Method
- To make the spice mixture, take red chilli powder in a bowl, add, turmeric powder, salt and chaat masala and mix well..
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Peel bananas and thinly slice them vertically on a mandolin slicer.
- Drop the slices into hot oil, a few at a time, and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and transfer into a large bowl.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over them, toss and serve as required.
