Ingredients list for Mac and Cheese Grilled Sandwich - SK Khazana
- 1 cup Macaroni boiled
- 1 cup Processed cheese grated
- 8 White bread slices
- 3 tablespo as required Butter
- 3 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 4 Cheese slices
Method
- To make cheese sauce, heat 3 tablespoons butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour and sauté well.
- Add milk, mix well and cook till sauce thickens. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.
- Add grated cheese and mix till it melts. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Mix together macaroni and cheese sauce in a bowl.
- Spread some butter on bread slices. Top half the bread slices with a generous portion of mac and cheese mixture. Place a cheese slice on each and cover with remaining bread slices.
- Heat a non-stick sandwich griller and brush with some butter. Place sandwiches in it, one by one, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both sides.
- Cut into triangles and serve immediately with tomato ketchup.
