Ingredients list for Lehsuni Grilled Chicken
- 2 Chicken Breast
- 1 cup Fresh Green Garlic roughly chopped
- 2 Green chillies finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- 3 tablespoons Oil
Method
- Place green garlic in a mixer jar, add little water and grind into a paste. Transfer this into a bowl, add green chillies, lemon juice, crushed black peppercorns, garam masala powder, salt and 1 tbsp oil and mix well. Rest for 5 minutes.
- Make deep diagonal gashes on the chicken breasts. Rub the marinade on the chicken breasts and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the chicken breasts in the pan and spread the marinade evenly.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side. Flip, apply the remaining marinade over the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
