Ingredients list for Kimchi Rice- Sk Khazana
- 1/2 cup Kimchi
- 3 cups Basmati rice boiled
- 3 teaspoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 2 Spring onion bulbs chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Spring onion greens finely chopped, 1 teaspoon +
- 1 Egg
Method
- Heat 2 tsps oil in non-stick pan, add garlic and spring onions and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add rice, crushed black peppercorns, kimchi and salt and toss well. Add spring onion greens and take the pan off the heat.
- Heat remaining oil in another non-stick pan, add egg and cook for 2 minutes or till egg white is cooked and the yolk firm.
- Transfer the cooked rice into a serving bowl and place the fried egg on top. Garnish with spring onion greens and sprinkle crushed black pepper. Serve hot.
