Ingredients list for Kesar Pista Chai - SK Khazana

  • a few + to garnish Saffron strands
  • to garnish Pistachios blanched & peeled
  • 250 millilitres Milk
  • 4-5 Green cardamoms
  • 2 tablespoons Tea leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Method

  1. Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan till it come to a boil. Remove and set aside.
  2. Boil 1½ cups water in another deep non-stick pan. Crush green cardamoms and add. Add tea leaves, sugar and saffron, mix and let the mixture boil for a minute.
  3. Add some of the boiled milk and boil the tea till it becomes frothy.
  4. Strain the tea into 4 serving glasses. Add the froth on top.
  5. Garnish with pistachios and saffron strands and serve hot.
