Ingredients list for Kalimirch ka poha
- 5-7 Black peppercorns, peeled and crushed
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2 tablespoons Peanuts
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 Green chillies, finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- Place poha in a colander and wash well. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add peanuts and sauté till golden brown.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside.Add cumin seeds in the same oil, once they crackle, add mustard seeds.
- Once they splutter, add green chillies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add drained poha and toss.Add salt, peppercorns and lemon juice and mix.
- Add chaat masala, coriander leaves, peanuts and toss. Cook for two to three minutes.Serve hot.
