By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2021 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Medium potatoes, Oil Cuisine Bengali Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 8 medium potatoes, peeled Oil for deep frying 7-8 tablespoons peanuts 2-3 sprigs of curry leaves Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste ½ teaspoon chaat masala Method Take a bowl with water, grate potatoes and wash the grated potatoes well. Squeeze the grated potatoes and spread on a kitchen towel. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, deep fry the potatoes till golden and crisp on low heat. Drain on absorbent paper. In the same hot oil, deep fry peanuts and drain on absorbent paper. Deep fry the curry leaves and drain on absorbent paper. In a bowl, Add the fried potatoes, peanuts and curry leaves, salt, crushed black peppercorns and a pinch of chaat masala, mix well.
