Ingredients list for Jamaican Chicken Curry-SK Khazana
- 400 grams Boneless chicken breasts Cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons Jamaican seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Dried mixed herbs
- 2 Medium potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
- 2 Medium onions quartered
- 1 Medium green capsicum diced
- 1/2 Medium red capsicum diced
- 2 Pickled jalapenos sliced
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Curry powder
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- 21 tablespoon Soy sauce
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Fresh parsley sprig
Method
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add mixed herbs and chicken cubes, mix and sauté till the chicken changes its colour.
- Add potatoes, onions, green and red capsicums, jalapenos, garlic powder, Jamaican seasoning and curry powder and mix well.
- Add 2 cups water, mix, cover and cook till chicken and potatoes are fully done. Add vinegar, soy sauce and salt, mix well and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot with steamed rice.
