Ingredients list for Jain Raw Banana Rosti
- 2 Raw bananas
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Salted peanuts crushed
- to taste Salt
- as required Olive oil
- 1 cup Fresh cream
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- for garnishing Fresh parsley
Method
- Peel and grate raw bananas on a plate. Add crushed peppercorns, green chilli, peanuts and salt and mix well.
- Heat some olive oil in a non-stick pan. Spread a spoonful of banana mixture over and cook till golden and crisp from both sides.
- To prepare sour cream, take cream in a bowl and whisk. Add lemon juice and salt and whisk well. Refrigerate to chill.
- Serve hot röstis with sour cream garnished with a parsley sprig.
