Honey Sesame Chicken A wonderful chicken starter – crisply fried chicken drizzled with honey and toasted sesame seeds. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken breasts, Honey Cuisine Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Honey Sesame Chicken 2 Boneless chicken breasts ¼ cup Honey ¼ cup White sesame seeds to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Soy sauce 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1 Egg for garnishing Spring onion greens finely chopped Method Cut chicken in thin strips and put in a bowl. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, crushed peppercorns, soy sauce and chillies and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Toast sesame seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Add cornstarch to the marinated chicken and mix well. Deep-fry the chicken strips in hot oil till crisp and golden brown on all the sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Pour a ladleful of the same oil in another non-stick pan, break egg and add along with salt and crushed peppercorns and cook till the egg is done.
