Hibiscus Ice Tea

This tea proves it. Hibiscus flowers make a tart, fruity tea. You can also brew store-bought hibiscus tea bags as strong as you like.

    Method

    1. Heat two cups of water in a non-stick pan. Remove the stem of hibiscus flower and add to the boiling water.
    2. Slice the lemon and squeeze juice of half the slices into the boiling water. Add tea leaves and brew it for two minutes.
    3. Remove from heat and strain the mixture. Keep it in the refrigerator to cool.
    4. To serve put four to five ice cubes in each of four tall glasses, pour the hibiscus tea equally in each glass, garnish with the remaining lemon slices.
