Ingredients list for Herb Crusted Chicken
- 300 grams Chicken sliced thinly
- 4-5 Fresh breadcrumbs freshly crumbed
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoons Garlic chopped
- to taste Salt
- 2 teaspoons Paprika powder
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns crushed
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Place chicken in a bowl, add garlic, salt, paprika powder and egg yolk and mix well.
- Put breadcrumbs, parsley, basil, red chilli flakes and crushed peppercorns in another bowl and mix well.
- Coat chicken pieces well with the breadcrumb mixture and dust of the excess.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry on medium heat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
