Ingredients list for Herb Crusted Chicken

  • 300 grams Chicken sliced thinly
  • 4-5 Fresh breadcrumbs freshly crumbed
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoons Garlic chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika powder
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns crushed
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Place chicken in a bowl, add garlic, salt, paprika powder and egg yolk and mix well.
  2. Put breadcrumbs, parsley, basil, red chilli flakes and crushed peppercorns in another bowl and mix well.
  3. Coat chicken pieces well with the breadcrumb mixture and dust of the excess.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry on medium heat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve hot.
